- Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV"). The important thing is to make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) can get in touch with you. Your home address is not required!
- Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

- Surf around your friends list (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part...
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes one person's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - do it.
- You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give and you might receive. You'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1. Christmas Cards - One of my favourite seasonal traditions is sending and receiving greeting cards. I love seeing all the different graphic designs and wordings (whether store-brought or handmade), and it's always nice to decorate your home with them. If you're more digitally inclined, I would love to see any holiday-related graphics that you've designed!

2. Souvenirs from your locality - I keep a small collection of postcards from the places I've traveled too, which isn't very many (yet). That being said, I would be very grateful if anyone will be willing to contribute by sending a scenic postcard from the city/state/province/territory/country/etc they come from. Magnets or keychains would be cool too.

3. New Music - I am always open to recommendations of people's favourite artists, albums and songs! If you want an idea of what music I listen to, you can view my Last.fm profile. I do listen to all genres - Classic Rock, Goldie Oldies, Jazz, Singer/Songwriter, Broadway, Top 40 (and even some Country and Rap). That being said, I would love new music playlists to listen to.

4. Bookmarks - I always find myself using expired coupons and ripped strips of paper as pageholders, so proper bookmarks would be very much appreciated!

5. Fashion Accessories - I absolutely love wearing fashion jewelry and headbands! My personal style is romantic, victorian and retro (50s/60s) influenced, and I tend to be drawn to details such as roses, pearls, lace, bows, chandelier, etc. The style icons I take inspiration from are Zooey Deschanel, Dianna Agron, Emma Watson, Brooke White and Summer Bellessa of The Girls With Glasses Show, Audrey Hepburn and the character of Marie Antoinette from the 2006 film.

6. Graphics! - I'm always looking for new desktop wallpaper (1280x800) and journal icons! If you look at my LiveJournal profile/icons and Tumblr page, you can get a good grasp of what I'm interested in. :)

7. Stationary - As a college student, I always need to have a pen and/or pencil handy, but my writing utensil supply is starting to run low. University and business pens, funky pens, standard BIC pens, anything that's working properly and you're willing to part with would be awesome!

8. Charlie Bartlett - I've searched high and low for this DVD, but I cannot find it in stores anywhere! It's a comedy-drama from 2007 starring Robert Downey Jr., Anton Yelchin, Tyler Hilton and many of the kids from the cast of Degrassi.

9. I See London... - I've rediscovered a fascination for all things related to London, England, the United Kingdom, etc, during all periods (Restoration, Victorian, Modern Age). Since I don't already, I would like to acquire any kind of item or trinket associated with the UK.

10. Smile! - We get so wrapped up in our busy, stressful lives that we sometimes forget to appreciate the blessings bestowed on us. So just take a moment to sit back and think about what you're thankful for this year, and help spread the cheer to others by performing one act of kindness for someone else. A simple smile can make such a difference in someone's day! :)

Thank you for viewing my wishlist! Happy Holidays! ♥
